Almost paradise?

We’re not starting a cult but some followers on Instagram would be nice. Thank you.

As of the time of writing, it is Tuesday (Jan. 3), which also means two new episodes of Single’s Inferno Season 2 are out.

You’re welcome for the reminder, by the way.

Although the series has yet to conclude, it looks like one of the series’ contestants, Nadine Lee, is dating someone in real life.

For context, Season 2 of Single’s Inferno follows 12 physically attractive contestants — six men and six women — on a deserted island as they try to find love (or at least a date).

These contestants can ascend to “paradise”—a fancy hotel room—for a night only if they manage to couple up with someone of the opposite sex.

The latest season was launched on Dec. 13, 2022, with new episodes released weekly.

*Major spoilers ahead*

Now that you’re sort of caught up, here’s what’s up.

On Jan. 1, 2023, Nadine, 22, posted an Instagram Story of her celebrating the new year with a mystery man.

The Instagram Story was captioned: “Happy new year 💋”

While Nadine neither disclosed who the man is nor the relationship status between her and the said mystery man, netizens seem to have an inkling of what’s going on.

Who is the mystery man?

So far, Nadine has gone to “paradise” with 32-year-old plastic surgeon Shin Dong Woo.

However, it looks like things have fizzled out after the two of them went to “paradise”, where Nadine revealed that she is a pre-med student at Harvard University.

A lot of fans have also shipped Nadine with newcomer Kim Jin Young because of how well they get along.

Unfortunately, they have not gone to “paradise” together… yet (yup, we’re hopeful it’ll happen).

In episode eight, Nadine went to “paradise” again, this time with Jo Yoong Jae, a 32-year-old who works at a securities firm.

Yoong Jae, however, wasn’t her first choice.

In a not-so-shocking revelation, she said that her first choice was Jin Young as she was “curious about everything about” him.

Alas, rival contestant and model Lim Min Su got to ask Jin Young first on a “paradise” date, which left Nadine to go to “paradise” with her second choice Jin Young.

Boo.

No, really, who?

So who is the mystery man in question?

Some sharp-eyed netizens noticed that the mystery man was wearing a ring in the picture.

Which, funnily enough, looks like a ring worn by fellow contestant… Kim Han Bin.

Here’s a closer look at the rings in the two pictures:

Han Bin is a 24-year-old chef and has turned heads for having a resemblance to South Korean actor Nam Joo Hyuk (that guy from “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo”).

And fans are all over this little nugget.

However, a handful of viewers are still doubtful.

Guess we’ll have to watch on to find out.
