How it all happened
On Feb. 9, Jenn had left a comment on an Instagram post by the Hong Kong filmmaker and comedian, expressing her admiration for him.
The comment read:
“You have been a huge part of my life and an inspiration to a lot of the videos that I create. I even learnt Cantonese from watching your movies. Sing Ye (Stephen Chow’s nickname, which translates to Lord Sing), when can I meet you?”
To her surprise and elation, Stephen replied: “Anytime! Will you come to Hong Kong?”
Jenn then answered: “Can I come to Hong Kong next Saturday to see you? Even if it’s just five minutes. I’ll be so happy.”
The influencer then asked her followers to help like her comment, so she could get his attention.
Flew to Hong Kong to meet Stephen Chow
Not knowing what to expect, Jenn says, she flew to Hong Kong on Mar. 23 to meet up with Stephen.
When they met up the next day, Stephen took her and her companion for a “delicious Teochew meal”, and even autographed a copy of her Shaolin Soccer DVD.

Same Jenn, same.
Following the meet-up, Jenn posted to Instagram to thank those who helped “make her dream come true”.
Jenn posted another video on Mar. 29 featuring snippets of people from Malaysia and Singapore with a message for Stephen:
“Sing Ye, from Malaysia and Singapore, we want to say: You’re the best you know? I’m really thankful to you.”
