We’re not starting a cult but some followers on Instagram would be nice. Thank you.

Crazy Rich Asians (CRA), the 2018 film that stars Constance Wu (who plays Rachel Chu) and Henry Golding (who plays Nick Young) is iconic for several reasons.

It’s one of the first Hollywood movies with a primarily Asian cast, it was mainly set in Singapore and some Singaporean actors like Pierre Png and Tan Kheng Hua were part of the film too.

“Yellow” singer

Another memorable part of the movie was the Mandarin rendition of Coldplay’s “Yellow” sung by Chinese-American singer Katherine Ho.

Katherine was 19 when her vocals accompanied the scene of Rachel’s and Nick’s happy ending but she unfortunately never got the opportunity to visit Singapore.

Until much recently, that is.

On May 19, Katherine posted a TikTok of her going around Singapore.

According to the video, it has been five years since she sang the soundtrack for CRA and she finally got to visit the landmarks where the movie was filmed at.

She could be seen visiting Gardens by the Bay and posing with the Marina Bay Sands in the background.

Of course, she had to grab some grub, specifically satay, from Newton Food Centre as well.
